Hello Ziktalkers!
As 2022 comes to a close we want to reflect on the past year and the progress we have made. This year was a tough year for the web3 space overall and we are happy to have come through and are looking forward to what 2023 brings.
Pivot to Short Form Video
We started the year off by moving to a short-form video application. Along with this change the addition of $ZIK and the Ziktalk ecosystem was created to reward different kinds of users on the platform. We released the ERC-20 $ZIK in the first half of the year allowing users to use their $ZIK in the wider ecosystem.
Listing on Crypto Exchanges
$ZIK was listed on LBank, Digifinex, and Hotbit at the beginning of 2022 allowing users to trade $ZIK on more platforms. We are looking to list on more exchanges and provide more trading platforms for Ziktalk users.
Reached 1 Million Users
In August of this last year, we reached 1 million users on the Ziktalk platform. This is a huge milestone for the app as we have a base of active and participating users. We are looking forward to providing more tools and experiences for Ziktalker users.
MOUs signed
Throughout all of 2022, we signed multiple MOUs with companies ranging from charities to other web3 and non-web3 companies. We signed MOUs with Green Children’s Foundation, Publishers Ventures, and The Troye. We look forward to working with these groups and accomplishing our goals together.
As 2023 begins the team is looking forward to continuing the momentum from 2022 and building a better app and user experience. We are working on connecting and integrating public wallets into Ziktalk. As we have teased we are planning on releasing a utility NFT collection to allow Ziktalk users to express themselves on and off the platform throughout the Polygon ecosystem. We are excited to share more of our detailed future plans at the beginning of next year.
